This pretty apartment is set in the Southern Spanish Andalucian town of Nerja, on the Costa Del Sol. It is conveniently reached by Motorway from Malaga Airport, which is 45 minutes drive away. The airport is served by all the major airlines of Europe, and has many car rental facilities making easy access to the whole of the area. Nerja is an old fishing village with about 15,000 inhabitants, it is popular with tourists, having Bars & many fine Restaurants. Nerja has a couple of Churches, several beaches, and a lot of pedestrian areas, including the famous 'Balcon de Europa' (Balcony of Europe) There are many shops selling fine clothes and good quality souvenirs; because the town has many full time residents, it has shops that cater for everyone. One of the most famous features of the area, are the Caves of Nerja, discovered in 1959, they were formed millions of years ago; they make spectacular viewing, and throughout the year underground concerts are held there. On Tuesday Nerja has a Market where you can buy fruit, vegetables, clothes, shoes and many other bargains. Sunday brings an Antique and craft Market which includes locally produced Ceramics.
